Abstract

The creation of new competitive information display devices that utilize a wide range of electro-optical effects in nematic, smectic, and cholesteric liquid crystals, as well as ensuring their reliable operation under specified conditions, is impossible without proper diagnostics. This problem is facilitated by modern universal measuring and computing complexes. Among the range of complexes used worldwide, the SM-100 complex, developed at the Institute of Semiconductor Physics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, is optimal for research centers and enterprises in Russia, Belarus, and Ukraine.
