Abstract

An interference temperature sensor has been developed using nanocrystalline films of cubic silicon carbide deposited directly by ion flow onto a leucosapphire substrate. The optical properties and thermal sensitivity of the “nanocrystalline SiC film/leucosapphire” structures have been measured and analyzed.
