Acousto-optic modulators for radio signal spectral analysis systems
Abstract
The paper discusses the design features of acousto-optic modulators used in radio signal spectral analysis systems operating in the frequency range of 1–2 GHz. Acousto-optic modulators working in the specified frequency range were fabricated using ZnO films as piezoelectric transducers, as well as a modulator in which the acoustic wave excitation is carried out from the surface of the acousto-optic waveguide. Technical characteristics of these modulators are presented.
