Method for determining the effective area of a photodiode photosensitive element

Abstract
Problems arising in determining the effective area of photodiode photosensitive elements using standardized procedures are discussed. A method with improved metrological characteristics is presented, based on comparing the areas of the photosensitive element and a special diaphragm.
