Resistance of the contact of thin film resistors

Abstract

The analysis of the available models of resistance evaluating of the thin film contact and its component parts is conducted; a new physical model and an equivalent electric circuit for evaluating the contact resistance and its components and also current and potential distribution along the layers is proposed; not uniform current distribution along the thickness of the resistive layer on the contact boundary is shown.
