Novel fiber-optic probes for absorption analysis

Abstract

New two-channel fiber-optic probes have been investigated for rapid measurement of absorption and transmission in biological and industrial liquids and gases. The proposed probes make it possible to implement both conventional linear and U-shaped optical schemes for express spectral analysis in clinical, scientific, and industrial laboratories.
