Abstract

The paper presents the technical capabilities of the state satellite distribution network of information support (SDNIS) being developed in Ukraine for the distribution of television and radio programs. The role of SDNIS within the national satellite communication system is defined as a basic structure of the state component of its ground segment. The connection between the issue of digital television signal quality control and the issue of digital television ecology is also outlined.
