Manufacturing technology for high-reliability peltier thermoelectric modules
Abstract
An evaluation was conducted of the strength parameters and natural frequencies of Peltier thermoelectric modules (TEMs) based on Bi–Te–Se–Sb with single-sided and double-sided fixation of the working faces. A technology has been developed for producing homogeneous crystals of these alloys with Q-factors of (3.0...3.2)×10⁻³ K⁻¹ (300 K), a diameter of 28–38 mm, enhanced mechanical strength, and a yield rate of 69–75%. The adhesion properties of the electrical contact and anti-diffusion layers have been improved. TEs with a minimum operating life of 12,000 hours in continuous mode and 3,000 hours in cyclic mode have been obtained.
