Selection of basic elements for a two-axis multisensor inertial sensor

Abstract

The paper proposes a basic scheme for constructing a two-axis multisensor inertial sensor (MIS), which allows simultaneous measurement of translational linear acceleration and angular velocity along two axes in the coordinate system associated with an aircraft. As inertial sensitive elements, the MIS contains only accelerometers. Such a multisensor sensor can be applied in inertial measurement units for motion control systems of maneuverable aircraft. Based on previously formulated requirements, the choice of basic elements (accelerometer and vibration drive) has been carried out.
