Abstract

A new measuring setup is proposed, which has its own dynamic range increased by 20...30 dB compared with the standard measuring circuit, while the calculated measurement error introduced by the setup does not exceed ±2.8 dB in the worst case. The measuring setup can also be used to determine the levels of intermodulation components of medium-power and high-power low-frequency amplifiers when the quartz filter is replaced with an appropriate low-frequency LC filter and a spectrum analyzer.
