Abstract

An automated system has been developed for recording the number of bending vibration cycles until specimen failure. The H2‑7EA3 measuring device was used as a counter, offering high noise immunity and memory, which is important in cases of sudden power outages or voltage surges. Based on experimental data obtained with the proposed setup featuring the automated cycle‑counting system, the fatigue limit of aluminum has been evaluated.
