Abstract
The paper analyzes known models, procedures, and methods of convolution for arithmetic multi‑row codes (MRC), identifying their advantages and disadvantages. A generalized model of MRC convolution is developed, taking into account all existing work in this field, including the authors’ own contributions. The organization of carry operations in MRC convolution is also discussed.
