Abstract

Ultraviolet photodetectors based on natural type IIa diamond with different nitrogen concentrations have been fabricated and investigated. The feasibility of implementing both photoresistive and photodiode operation principles in diamond UV photodetectors has been demonstrated. Novel “solar-blind” UV photodetectors have been developed, and their photoelectric parameters are presented.
