Abstract

A methodology is proposed for analyzing and selecting primary sources of impulsive noise for use in random number sequence generators. A description is given of a computer system designed to analyze the characteristics of noise pulse streams in diodes operating in the microplasma breakdown mode. The developed system enables the selection of diodes with noise pulse generation frequencies up to 10 MHz.
