Abstract

Universal force‑displacement measuring system with digital signal processing has been developed. The system performs amplification, discretization, averaging of the sensor signal, and transmits data to a personal computer via the RS232 interface. It enables recording the dependence of one electrical signal on another or using the signals independently. As sensitive elements of the force sensor, strain gauges based on p‑type silicon whisker crystals were employed.
