Materials for conversion of electromagnetic energy into heat: requirements and technology
Keywords:
shielding materials, electromagnetic energy converters, transition metal oxides, epoxy composites, ferromagnetic fillers
Abstract
Generalized requirements for materials that convert electromagnetic energy into heat are substantiated. The conditions for fulfilling these requirements are shown, which can be achieved only by matching the wave impedances of air and the composite at their interface. The features of the technology for synthesizing dispersed ferromagnetic fillers and the options for modifying their binding matrix are considered.
