Measurement of the influence of a magnetic field on the thermoelectromotive force in thin films without creating a temperature gradient
Abstract
The influence of a magnetic field on the “metal–dielectric–semiconductor–metal” system forming a thermoelectric capacitor is considered. The processes of charging and discharging such a capacitor in the presence and absence of a magnetic field are described. It is shown that the voltage across the capacitor can vary due to changes in the thermoelectromotive force under the action of a magnetic field, which makes it possible to determine the change in thermoelectromotive force without creating a temperature gradient.
