Abstract

A design synthesis and experimental investigation of a two-diode generator module based on Gunn diodes in the centimeter wavelength range, incorporating a stabilizing reference cylindrical resonator, have been carried out. By operating the diodes in different regimes — domain suppression and domain delay — it is possible to maintain frequency locking to the reference resonator even under significant fluctuations of the supply voltage.
