Abstract

The design of an integral pressure transducer (IPT) with a separating membrane (SM) for measuring pressure in aggressive liquids and liquids with solid inclusions has been investigated. It is shown that the SM is the source of both the main and additional temperature errors of the pressure IPT. The main error is systematic and can be easily accounted for in the metrological process of the pressure IPT. The additional temperature error is caused by the drift of the sensor’s zero signal with temperature and significantly depends on the geometric dimensions, shape, and corrugation height of the SM.
