Microwave heater with convective heat transfer
Abstract
The features of design and calculation of characteristics of an original microwave air-flow heater of waveguide type in the form of a hypocycloid with convective heat transfer are presented. As a converter of electromagnetic energy into thermal energy in the waveguide branches, materials based on layered aluminosilicate filled with transition metal oxides with a concentration gradient are used. Such heaters differ from traditional ones in many important aspects: environmental friendliness of the working agent, inertia-free operation, flexible controllability, compactness, energy efficiency, and independence from scarce energy sources.
