Determination of convective heat transfer coefficients in thermoelectric catalytic generators
Abstract
Convective heat transfer coefficients have been determined in semiconductor thermoelectric generators with a catalytic heat source. This makes it possible to optimize the systems of heat supply and removal in the actual design of a thermoelectric generator and, consequently, to increase its overall efficiency. The heat released by the generator can be used to create the required thermal regime for electronic devices operating under conditions of low ambient temperatures.
