Abstract

The results of a study of the heat transfer characteristics of a water cooling system for personal computer processors are presented. It is shown that internal finning of primary heat exchangers significantly increases the dissipated heat fluxes. The material from which the heat exchanger is made has practically no effect on the heat transfer characteristics of the cooling system.
