Abstract

Methods for producing and the structure of opal matrices (ordered packings of SiO₂ nanospheres) and multilayer structures based on them (opal matrix/diamond-like carbon, opal matrix/Ni/diamond-like carbon, etc.) are considered. The structure and characteristics of non-heated cathodes and photodiodes formed on the basis of layered structures containing a layer of regular cubic packings of SiO₂ nanospheres and diamond-like materials are presented.
