Abstract

Semiconductor magnetic field meters in the microwave range have been developed on the basis of a wide-range autogenerator with magnetic tuning, whose generated signal is linearly related to the magnitude of the magnetic field. In the first version, a spherical resonator made of yttrium iron garnet placed inside two orthogonal coils was used as the magnetically controlled oscillatory circuit. In the second version, the magnetically sensitive element (a ferrite plate) of the autogenerator’s resonant circuit was placed inside the volume of a waveguide prism resonator.
