Abstract
For the first time, the main elements of the network architecture of fixed broadband wireless access systems are presented from a unified perspective, treating them as an independent type of telecommunications. This approach makes it possible to define the fundamental conceptual principles for the structural and functional design of such systems, as well as to establish requirements for both microwave and digital equipment.
