Abstract

The paper considers the main approaches and regularities of forming and controlling a system of nanometer atomic clusters as the fundamental component of nanodevices. A model of a nanometer electronic device (ED) based on clusters is proposed, with the possibility of localizing sodium atoms inside a polyhedral Si configuration. Work with semiconductor clathrates represents an alternative methodology that can be used by nanotechnology specialists to modify the electrophysical parameters of nm‑EDs.
