Abstract

The paper considers the process of transforming a digital filter structure based on state-space representation. The problem of eliminating ambiguity in the system of equations is highlighted. Transformations are performed using the example of ladder and lattice (bridge) structures of a 2nd-order digital filter. The magnitude of output rounding noise is determined.
