Abstract

Using Mathcad 7 and the mutual inductance calculation method by P. L. Kalantarov and L. A. Zeitlin, the balance conditions for inductive balanced sensors with square and triangular coils are determined, taking into account the distance between the coil planes and the presence of a metal plate near the sensor when the sensor is placed inside a metal cylinder. Designs of microelectronic sensors that can be used in force, pressure, and mass sensors, as well as for sorting metal cylinders by radius and length, are presented.
