Abstract

As one of the ways to increase data transmission speeds up to 10 Gb/s on a single optical carrier, spectral data multiplexing of optical computing facilities is considered. A mathematical model of a spectral demultiplexing (multiplexing) element, a criterion for spectral resolution, and methods for calculating the number of information channels and the number of switched channels based on an acousto-optic cell with collinear interaction are proposed.
